It’s that time of year when people in the office are bugging you about where to go for you Christmas do…

Here’s our Christmas menu for parties of up to 20 people (for parties of over 20 people have a look at our Christmas Party Menu)

First course £6.50

Pulled ham & spiced apple press

Winter vegetable broth (V)

Whisky & orange-cured salmon

Smoked haddock fishcake with poached egg

Quail egg Ploughmans, white stilton, celery & pickle (V)

Baked beetroot, goats cheese & horseradish (V)

Lindisfarne oysters, spiced sausage & tomato relish

Slow-cooked duck & Wensleydale tart with plum chutney

Second course £17.50

British Turkey with all of the trimmings

Rose veal, celeriac mash, white wine sauce & green beans

Duck breast, glazed carrots, fondant potato & red cabbage

Baked cod loin, tomato and spicy sausage casserole

Sea bream with a fennel and Lindisfarne oyster broth

8oz Lowlands Farm sirloin steak – fat daddy chips, winter slaw (£4.50 supplement)

8oz rare-breed pork burger, smoked bacon, Sedgefield camembert & chips

Butternut squash baked with Carol Peacock’s feta cheese (V)

British mussels, cooked in cider & tarragon with fat chips and Artful Baker bread
