Super winter suppers


We’re not, we’re loving testing out dishes for our new Winter supper menu.

This menu launches Thurs 9th January, we’re sure it better than just putting a jumper on, or donning a special pair of Christmas socks.

Have a look at our “Staples”, they’re always on, and we can recommend them if your unsure on what to pick!

Supper menu is available 6pm onwards, every day. Earlier if you ask us nicely!

First Course

Sedgefield feta, beetroot & apple salad £5.80 (V)

A bowl of salted winkles £4.50

The Oldfields Camem-burger
Ground Shorthorn beef, onion rings, bacon, tomato relish and Carol Peacock’s Sedgefield Camembert £14.50

Roast of the Day
Nothing better or more British than a roast dinner with all the trimmings. Ask the staff for Today’s roast.(We always have a nut roast available) (V) £12.50

Whole roast sea bass
Fish from Hodgsons of Hartlepool, with creamed greens and Wensleydale bacon £17.50

Butchers cut of the day
Fab Durham steak (ask staff for Today’s), fat daddy chips and a fab winter slaw £market price
