Graduation is nearly upon us.

This year we’ve got our biggest and best Graduation menu ever!

The grills haven’t disappeared this year. We reckon that you lovely graduates deserve a bit of steak for all of your hard work.

Get your hungry mouths around some of this!!

2 courses  £26.75, 3 courses £29.75

FIRST COURSE

Deep fried Rabbit – bread crumbed, with potato and lemon

½ dozen oysters – Carlingford oysters with shallot  vinegar

Cured ham salad – potatoes, Hawthorn Dene  wild garlic

Spiced tomato soup – served with an Artful Baker roll

Pork Bath chaps  – green sauce, salted back fat

Aubergine casserole – tomato, beans (V)

Warm potted crab – potatoes, spiced sausage

Prawn Cocktail – baby gem, Marie Rose

Heritage tomato salad – with chilli and parsley (V)

North sea cod – salted with green beans & potato

SECOND COURSE

MEAT

Calves liver – with new potatoes and gooseberry jam

Mini pork joint – celriac and garlic

Lamb shank – in a hotpot style with potatoes and mushrooms

Beef brisket – in Sonnet 43 beer with broccoli

Rabbit and black pudding pie –  with proper chips

FISH AND VEGETARIAN

Crab, new potatoes, watercress

Fish, chips & peas – whole sea bass, chips, mushy peas

Kedgeree – spiced pearl barley with smoked salmon and  oyster

Turnip Haggerty – Morden Blue cheese and slated green beans  (V)

Courgette oatmeal – with Hawthorn Dene wild garlic (V)

GRILLS

Sedgefield Camembert grill – thyme studded with thick chips  (V)

Sirloin steak – our fab mushroom ketchup, chips (£5 extra)

Surf and turf  – Flat Iron steak, langoustines, chips  (£4 extra)

(this can only be done rare or medium rare)

½ whole chicken – garlic butter, chips

SALADS

Heritage tomato salad – with chilli and parsley (V)

Devilled steak – house spice, beets, tomatoes

Morden Blue cheese salad – aubergines & beans (V)

A discretionary service charge (non-discretionary for parties of 8 or more) of 12.5% will be added to your final bill. It does actually go to our team of staff. If you don’t think our service was good enough, please feel free to ask any of us to take it off.
